What is "pre-visualization"? visualization (n): the process of creating an image or vision of From a small stage set of a bathroom to an expansive location build of an unknown planet, computer pre-visualization is a useful tool to have in the designer's toolbox. Once the designed environments are in the virtual world, shot planning, construction concerns, sightlines, and how a set frames with a specific lens in your chosen aspect ratio/film format, testing and troubleshooting results are immediately apparent. Once the process has been refined and shot/set design(s) have been approved, anything from wireframe studies, to fully lit animatics can be generated rapidly and put onto video tape. |
